How would you compare/contrast and ?
The KHL and QMJHL are so different from one another in that one leagues pro and another is at the major junior hockey level. Comparing them in that sense head to head is tough. Where they do have some overlap is in that both are skill type leagues with a heavy emphasis on offense. You'll especially see this in the Q where players put up quite a number of points.
We've been scouting matches in each league for many years. This plus conversations with ex-players and members on clubs gives us our wide understanding.
