Based in the United Kingdom, Ben focuses his efforts on helping players find the right opportunities across UK hockey at the professional level.
Originally from Hoboken, New Jersey, Ben has been immersed in the game for most of his life. After a decade as a goaltender and two-time New Jersey state champion, he developed the discipline, focus, and leadership that now define his professional approach.
In 2020, Ben transitioned into rowing and was recruited to the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where he studies Business Management and is on the nationally ranked rowing team. Leading at the collegiate level has given him first-hand experience in team culture, communication, and the mindset it takes to compete at a high level- all qualities he brings directly into his work with players and teams.
Fluent in Russian and Spanish, Ben has a natural ability to connect across cultures. He’s also gained valuable experience prior in sports media, having interviewed dozens of ice hockey players from the junior, collegiate, and pro levels (including several current NHLers).
Today, Ben brings that same curiosity, professionalism, and passion for player development to the Play Hockey in Europe team. He approaches every player placement with professionalism and care, aiming to help athletes progress in their careers while building strong relationships across the international hockey network.
Outside of hockey, Ben enjoys cooking, traveling, and experiencing new cultures.
