From 1996-2009, the Mississippi Sea Wolves played under the Sea Wolves name, but in a different league (ECHL). When the team joined the Federal Prospects Hockey League, they brought back exciting hockey to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.

What players say...

"I've played for a number of teams in the Fed. I believe Biloxi is hands down the best place to play in the league. The weather, the fans, the beach restaurants, and the nightlife are exactly what you want in the minors. The organization is also just full of good people from volunteers to management."

Mississippi Coast Coliseum

The Breakers play home games out of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. The Coliseum is a multi-purpose venue that hosts everything from sports events to popular concert acts that tour through town. It can hold up to 9,150 fans for hockey games. Although the arena doesn’t get this packed each night for your average regular season game, they consistently draw several thousands fans per each home game and it’s a great rink to play in. In our opinion, it’s geographically one of the best located rinks in minor pro hockey. When you walk outside the rink, you’re a 1-2 minute walk across the street from the beach.

How many championships do the Biloxi Breakers have?

0. The Breakers are yet to win the FPHL Championship (Commissioner's Cup).

Notable/Cult Players

Biloxi has some of the best fresh seafood in the South and they’re well known for their oysters (Gulf Coast). The seafood industry here dates back hundreds of years due to the cities proximity to water in the Mississippi Sound and Gulf of Mexico. It’s always worth eating local cuisine when you’re in Biloxi, whether you want to pick up fresh seafood from a market to cook yourself or ordering Shrimp Gumbo and Po’boys out at an outdoor patio on the waterfront.
