How would you compare/contrast and NIHL?
The EIHL is the top league in the United Kingdom so it clearly sits at a higher level of hockey than the NIHL overall. Both leagues can make for a great development ground for UK players depending on the stage they're at in their career alongside their hockey ambitions. In terms of imports, most imports in the EIHL have top level playing experience on their resume. Even in the NIHL though, you'll find a few imports with prior pro, NCAA, or major junior experience under their belt.
