How would you compare/contrast and ?
The ECHL sits just above the SPHL in the North American pro hockey heirarchy. Head to head, it's the stronger of the two leagues and many teams in the coast have NHL affiliations. With more players coming out of college/juniors aiming to keep playing, this has elevated the level of play in both leagues over the past decade.
Partners on our team have been scouting matches in these respective leagues for many years. Our understanding comes from this.
